Detentor de extensa lista de servi\u00e7os prestados n\u00e3o apenas \u00e0 advocacia, mas ao Rio Grande do Norte, Eider Furtado presidiu com altivez e ar renovador esta institui\u00e7\u00e3o por oito anos, entre o fim dos anos 60 e quase toda a d\u00e9cada de 70. Como Membro Honor\u00e1rio Vital\u00edcio da nossa Ordem, era admirado por toda a classe.
