A previs\u00e3o \u00e9 que a cerim\u00f4nia seja realizada at\u00e9 17 de dezembro, \u00faltimo dia das atividades da Corte neste ano. Depois disso, haver\u00e1 recesso e o tribunal funcionar\u00e1 em regime de plant\u00e3o. O presidente, Luiz Fux, julgar\u00e1 apenas casos urgentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainda n\u00e3o foi definido o formato da cerim\u00f4nia. Caber\u00e1 a Mendon\u00e7a, se for aprovado, decidir se a posse ser\u00e1 realizada no plen\u00e1rio do STF de forma presencial, ou por videoconfer\u00eancia. Se optar pela primeira alternativa, pouca gente ser\u00e1 convidada. Isso porque existe uma resolu\u00e7\u00e3o em vigor no STF que determina dist\u00e2ncia de pelo menos dois metros entre as pessoas no tribunal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes da pandemia, associa\u00e7\u00f5es de magistrados costumavam oferecer uma festa em Bras\u00edlia em homenagem ao empossado depois das formalidades no STF. Quando Kassio Nunes Marques tomou posse, em novembro do ano passado, as festividades n\u00e3o ocorreram, para evitar a dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o da Covid-19.
