Ele e o ministro Jorge Mussi\u00a0<strong>foram eleitos<\/strong>\u00a0pelo Pleno do tribunal no dia 5 de maio, em sess\u00e3o por videoconfer\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na mesma ocasi\u00e3o, o Pleno\u00a0<strong>escolheu<\/strong>\u00a0Maria Thereza de Assis Moura para ser a nova corregedora nacional de Justi\u00e7a. Tamb\u00e9m foram eleitos os ministros Og Fernandes para diretor-geral da Escola Nacional de Forma\u00e7\u00e3o e Aperfei\u00e7oamento de Magistrados (Enfam) e Benedito Gon\u00e7alves para diretor da Revista do STJ.
